The CAUSALab at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health invites applications for post-doctoral research fellow positions and doctoral student research positions. The CAUSALab will be launched in the Summer of 2021.
The fellows and doctoral students will work on causal inference projects under the supervision of senior faculty members. The projects range from the development of AI/Causal Inference methods to the implementation of established causal inference approaches to support public health and clinical decision making. Applications span different health areas, including HIV and pregnancy.
Requirements for the post-doctoral research fellow position include a doctoral degree in epidemiology, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field, excellent writing skills, expert knowledge of R or SAS, and an ability to collaborate with colleagues within and beyond the group.
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
If you are interested:
- Send your CV, description of research interests, and two reference letters to Kathleen Tajmajer firstname.lastname@example.org
- Optionally, you can also send a brief comment/critique (a few sentences suffice) of work conducted by CAUSALab researchers. For example, you can tell us how an analysis could be improved, propose alternative interpretations of the findings, point out potential errors, describe alternative areas of application, or discuss any ideas you’d like to share with us.
Other postdoc positions linked to the CAUSALab are available at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. If interested, write to Anita Berglund email@example.com
