Seminars

The CAUSALab Methods Series is an ongoing initiative at Karolinska Institutet featuring a lineup of international experts. Seminars include a 30-45 minute presentation with time for audience Q&A. Past topics have included protecting against researcher bias in data analysis, improving peer review, causal inference in the time of COVID-19 and more. On Monday, November 22, 2021 the CAUSALab hosted Dr. George Davey Smith for his talk, “Pre-registered triangulation of evidence.”

George Davey Smith is a British epidemiologist. He has been professor of clinical epidemiology at the University of Bristol since 1994, honorary professor of public health at the University of Glasgow since 1996, and visiting professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine since 1999.
